3D TV Looks Cool — But When Will Viewers Be Ready?Announcements of new 3D TV efforts dominated last week’s Consumer Electronics Show, as vendors salivated over the chance to grow a new high-end product category now that HD has gone mainstream.

DirecTV's launching a new satellite tonight, giving them beaucoups bandwidth for the world's first all-HD 3D channel. The satellite provider plans to populate that channel with movies, sports and other 3D programs.

The saying for March “in like a lion out like a lamb.” That saying should be reversed if you’re a fan of High Definition via satellite!
It appears that both Dish Network and DirecTV will turn up the heat to their HD customers by launching a handfull of new national HD channels this week.

It appears that DirecTV has launched "Crime and Investigation Network" in HD on channel 275. In order to see the new channel customers must refresh their programming from the DirecTV website and subscribe to the HD Extra package.

Went to bed last night with my living room HR-20 working fine. I woke up this morning, and couldnt get the unit to do anything. Wouldnt turn on with the remote or the buttons on the unit. I unplugged it and it started up fine. No problems. Just wondering if they did something las tnight to cause this.
