National Geographic Channel will present the The Lost JFK Tapes: The Assassination, a two-hour documentary which recreates the events surrounding JFK’s assassination on Nov. 22, 1963. The documentary will premiere Nov. 23, 2009 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, in both standard and high-definition (HD).

So, I was tossing and turning a little over a week ago at around 4 a.m. Not sure why, but sleep was not coming easy for me so I turned on the television to try and lull myself into lullaby-land. This after counting at least a half dozen flocks of sheep.

Anyways, here it goes. How many years does it take worthless channels like Vh1HD and MHD etc.. to finally get the clue and produce HD programming?? It seems everything they show is in a widescreen 185 aspect ratio, so obviously it was shot with an HD camera, but they compress it and downgrade it to SD into the the center of the HD channel and make it look like a SD channel even though it is on their HD channel?
