Max Payne 3 coming for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC

Rockstar announced today the upcoming release of "Max Payne 3" for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. This is the third installment of the popular game, and this time we will see "Max as we've never seen him before" said Rockstar founder Sam Houser. Max will apparently be aged according to the time span of the previous games. "Max Payne 3" is slated for “Winter 2009” release. Can you get any more vague than that?
In any case, something to look forward to. I was always a big fan of Payne.

Am I excited about this? Absolutely. I couldn't understand what could possibly happen in four months that would make the DTV transition any smoother. Apparently there is no more money for converters. Well what happened to the money set aside to fund the whole transition? Did it just disappear?

The senate this Monday voted unanimously to delay the DTV transition once again. Will this digital conversion ever happen? All the preparation and marketing was obviously a failure because it didn't make the schedule. And the money allocated to the coupon program is obviously tapped.
"Delaying the upcoming DTV switch is the right thing to do," said Senate Commerce Committee Chairman Jay Rockefeller. He added, "I firmly believe that our nation is not yet ready to make this transition at this time."

Residents of Wilmington, NC were in shock yesterday when they couldn't receive analog television signals. The city presented a test of what the Feb. '09 DTV transition would be like, and the test failed miserably.
Bloomberg news reported on the event, saying residents flooded the city's phone lines. "Our phone lines were lit up for an hour straight between noon and one," said Thomas Postema, general manager of WSFX, the Wilmington Fox affiliate.
