In November we'll get to go beyond the recent Clone Wars animated movie with Jedi Alliance for the Nintendo DS. Jedi Alliance introduces Sith villains to the Star Wars universe: The Nightsisters.

Meant to be a big-screen lead-in for the upcoming television series of the same name, 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars' was a box office underachiever, and failed to scale anywhere near the heights of the live-action 'Star Wars' films. Warner will debut 'The Clone Wars' on Blu-ray November 11, day-and-date with the standard DVD.

To prepare gamers for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (and, no doubt, drive sales), LucasArts plans to release a downloadable demo for the title on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace on August 21.

The next chapter in George Lucas' ever-expanding franchise will be "Star Wars: The Old Republic," a massively multiplayer online game set thousands of years before Darth Vader was born. The game is being developed by BioWare, the Electronic Arts-owned studio responsible for the first "Knights of the Old Republic" role-playing game in 2003.

Similarities drawn between LucasArts' Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Too Human are eerie to say the least. Like Too Human, TFU has seen its release date pushed back on multiple occasions but managed to temporarily silence critics with a resoundingly successful playable demo on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
